Kia's 2022 new Carnival MPV (Mullti-Purpose Vehicle) has been completely renewed through full change, replacing the existing Sedona and drawing the attention of consumers.

Kia Carnival, created by breaking the boundaries between SUVs and family minivans, will be the first Kia Motors to be sold in the United States with Kia's new logo. Kia Motors' Americas subsidiary said, “I am confident that just as the Kia new K5 has set a new standard for mid-sized sedans, the Kia Carnival launched this time will make a new history.”

The bold, box-shaped exterior produced at the California Design Studio, an American subsidiary, follows the visual sense that can be seen in the recent successful model lineup of Kia brands such as Telluride, Sorento and Seltos.

The interior of the car with 7 to 8 passengers in 3 rows provides premium class luxury, advanced functions, and relaxation. The largest indoor space and loading space in its class are evaluated to satisfy consumers according to their purpose from daily life to long-distance travel.

Kia Carnival's 290 horsepower 3.5-litre V6 engine delivers the highest driving power in its class. The powertrain has a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds (lbs.) suitable for towing a trailer or boat, or for camping. This powerful power of Kia Carnival, along with the driver assistance system (ADAS)1 as standard, gives modern design, performance, safety, and luxury.

The 2022 Kia Carnival MPV will be released in four trims (LX, EX, SX, SX-Prestige), and sales are expected to begin in the second quarter of this year.
