Kia Carnival 2021 was officially launched in Korea before going to the US and other markets with the name Sedona. This MPV model has been much improved over the old version.
Depending on the market, KIA will be available in 3 or 4-row versions, with 7.8 or 11 seats respectively.
Significant changes include the use of dual 12.3-inch screen clusters, with redesigned air-conditioning and premium materials in the interior. The infotainment system supports standard Apple CarPlay / Android Auto connectivity.
Sedona 2021 comes in three engine options in the Korean market, including the newly developed Smartsteam 2.2L four-cylinder diesel engine, producing 199 hp, 440 Nm; V6 GDi 3.5L petrol engine with direct fuel injection for 290 hp, 355 Nm; and the petrol engine MPi 3.5L 268 hp, 332 Nm.

All three are connected as standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

KIA will start selling Carnival in Korea starting from the third quarter of this year, and then to other markets.
