Deep in the wild interior of Guyana, truck drivers face some of the most dangerous roads in the world. Mud-filled tracks, collapsing bridges, flooded jungle paths and endless breakdowns turn every delivery into a battle against nature.

This documentary follows Roy, Emil, Dinesh and other fearless drivers as they transport fuel, food and building materials to remote gold mines and isolated Amerindian villages. A journey of just 50 kilometres can take more than ten hours, while longer convoys may disappear into the jungle for several days or even weeks.

Along the way, the film explores Guyana’s modern gold rush, the harsh lives of miners, the cowboys of the savannah and communities that depend entirely on these aging Bedford trucks. From vehicles buried in mud to broken winches, sleepless nights and deadly jungle hazards, every kilometre tests the limits of both man and machine.

A gripping journey through one of South America’s last great wildernesses, where survival depends on courage, patience and extraordinary driving skills.
