Kia Carnival Latest Updates
Kia Motors could launch the Carnival's Hi-Limousine variant in India. The new variant is more luxurious than the current Carnival which is available in Premium, Prestige and Limousine trims. The Hi-Limousine will add a high-roof variant to the lineup. This variant of the Carnival comes with captain seats, a roof-mounted infotainment screen and overhead lighting. The Hi-Limousine is expected to be priced around Rs 35 lakh.

Carnival Specifications
The Kia Carnival comes with a 2.2-litre CRDI diesel engine. It puts out 200PS of power and 440Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Unlike the Innova Crysta, the Carnival is a front-wheel drive vehicle. Kia claims a fuel economy of 13.9kmpl for the Carnival. It also comes with a boot space of 540 litres.
Carnival Variants
The MPV is available in three variants: Prestige, Premium and Limousine, with the option of 7, 8 or 9 seats. All three variants are available with the 2.2-litre diesel engine. The limousine variant is a 7-seater version with luxurious armchairs for the middle row. The Prestige variant is available as a 7- or 9-seater. The entry-level Premium trim is available as a 7- or 8-seater. Three colour options on offer are Glacier White Pearl, Steel Silver, Aurora Black Pearl.

Carnival Features
Some standout features in the Carnival include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charger, rear electric sliding doors, rear entertainment screens as well as tri-zone climate control. Safety features on offer are 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera as well as electronic stability control. The top-spec variants also get UVO connected car (free for 3 years), Harman/Kardon premium 8-speaker sound system and 10.1-inch dual touchscreen rear seat entertainment system, 10-way power driver seat, driver seat ventilation, wireless charger and smartwatch connectivity.
Kia Carnival Competitors
The Carnival has no direct competitors as such but it will go up against the Toyota Innova Crysta in India.
