Kia Carnival is finally getting a petrol-hybrid powertrain in India, and this could solve one of its biggest problems, especially in Delhi-NCR.

The upcoming Kia Carnival Hybrid gets the Sorento’s 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a more powerful electric motor. The petrol engine makes 178/180 bhp and 265 Nm, while the electric motor produces around 72–73.4 bhp and 304 Nm.

The rest of the Carnival remains focused on what it does best: a spacious, premium rear-seat experience. Prices will be announced closer to launch.
