Hello friends, In this episode, I will be taking you on a in depth tour of the newly introduced 3rd Generation KIA Sorento in Pakistan. About a couple of years back, Hyundai, making a come back to the Pakistani auto scene, decided to launch the Santa Fe. Unfortunately they decided to copy the pricing methods of the local Japanese car assemblers and jacked the hell out of the price and introduced the Santa Fe at the mind boggling price of 18.5 million. I think it is safe to say "woh din or aaj ka din" no units were ever sold.
Now a sub brand of Hyundai 'KIA' have launched the Sorento in the Pakistani market. This time cooler, less greedy heads prevailed and they have priced this SUV a little better. The Sorento started at 7 million from the base 2.4L FWD and goes to 8.1 million for the 2.4L AWD and stops at the range topping 3.5L FWD at 8.4. If you ask me, I would have liked to have the AWD option in the 3.5L version as well.

So, as usual, I will take you all on a closer look through the interior and exterior of this SUV while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I will also show the engine, start it up to see how it sounds and will go into the details of it, .
