The refreshed Terra features a new upscale design with many cues borrowed from the facelifted Nissan Patrol.

Bearing the brand's new “Unbreakable Design Language”, the 2022 Terra gets new headlights and a bolder V-Motion front grille. On higher trim variants, the SUV comes with new quad LED headlights with integrated C-shaped LED daytime running lights.

Nissan made changes to the rear with a new pair of LED taillights, a restyled rear bumper, new chrome trim on the tailgate, and an updated spoiler design. Lastly, all variants of the 2022 Terra come with new stylish 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

Aside from the exterior, Nissan heavily redesigned the Terra's cabin as well. It now comes with a unique look, unlike the one in the Navara. There's a redesigned dashboard, a new instrument panel with a 7-inch multi-info display, and a revised center stack that features a new HVAC panel. Other features inside the updated Terra include a flat-bottom steering wheel, an electronic parking brake, slimmer aircon vents, and a padded leather dashboard on the higher variants.

Infotainment comes in the form of a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, along with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Opt for the top-of-the-line VL version, and the Terra also comes with an 11-inch flip-down rear monitor, wireless charging, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.

The 2022 Terra is now packed with more Nissan Intelligent Mobility features than the previous model. Besides carrying over the Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, and Intelligent Rear View Monitor, the Terra now also has Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

Ever present is the 360-degree Safety Shield which provides drivers with an all-around view of the Terra – helping protect both the driver and passengers from potential risks. As a segment-first, the SUV gets the Intelligent Driver Alertness feature that senses cues from the driver and alerts them if they need to take a break from driving.

As before, the Terra continues to be powered by a 2.5-liter turbo-diesel engine. It makes 190 PS along with 450 Nm of torque. Depending on the variant, the 2022 Terra comes with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic gearbox with sequential shift.
