Kia Motors has taken the wraps off the 2021 Carnival MPV. The new Kia Carnival is larger and comes with a more SUV-ish design. It features the latest iteration of Kia’s Tiger Nose grille, a more upright stance and unique split LED headlamps.

Though Kia is yet to reveal the interiors, spy shots reveal that it’ll feature a twin screen set up a la the Mercedes-Benz models. It’ll also be offered with a plethora of seating options. Expected features include sliding electric rear doors, the latest iteration of UVO connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof, tri-zone climate control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats and ambient lighting. On the safety front, expect it to feature upto six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors and electronic stability control.

Kia is yet to reveal powertrain options for the 2021 Carnival. That said, we expect it to be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options.

The 2021 Kia Carnival is expected to reach India in 2022. Expect it to be priced at a premium over the current model which starts from Rs 24.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently, Carnival's only rival in the country is the more affordable Toyota Innova Crysta.
