Carnival's Uplevel SX and SX Prestige models are the only trims to see any changes for 2023. The SX now comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a matching 12.3-inch digital gauge display. The high-end SX Prestige no longer comes standard with reclining captain's chairs in the second row. A reconfigurable three-seater bench is now a standard offering. The value-oriented LXS trim has been discontinued. The Carnival will be offered in four trim levels, from the value-oriented LX to the luxury SX Prestige, but the EX represents the sweet spot between features and price. . EX trims come with a number of convenience features that help justify the upgrade costs, including a power tailgate, an in-cabin intercom, and voice control of the Carnival's infotainment system for rear-seat passengers.
